My name is Lynne Daly. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) who specialises in the support and education of breastfeeding mothers. I am also a Registered Nurse, Child & Family Health Nurse and mother of three.

I have been working with mothers and babies for over 20 years. After the birth of my third child, I trained as a breastfeeding counsellor with NMAA (now the Australian Breastfeeding Association) and for 5 years I hosted breastfeeding support mornings and provided individual counselling to breastfeeding mothers.

As a nurse I have worked in the neonatal unit of one of Sydney ’s leading hospitals. During this time, I helped lots of mothers to establish effective breastfeeding with both full term and preterm babies. I have worked in the field of Early Childhood since 1996, supporting mothers of new babies in their homes with feeding and settling issues. I am currently employed (part time) as a Child and Family Nurse and Lactation Consultant.

I believe breastfeeding is the most natural way to provide nutrition for your growing baby, and sometimes complications often arise, leaving you as the new mother feeling uncomfortable, frustrated and sometimes even inadequate.

Your needs as a breastfeeding mother are unique and so too are the special needs of your baby. I can provide practical help and advice with breastfeeding concerns in your own home, immediately after birth or at any stage.

My role is to provide you with the professional support, guidance and skills necessary to ensure that you and your baby enjoy the full benefits of breastfeeding.
